Tax Analytics

Tax Analytics turns the tax and credit lines buried in your cloud bills into a dashboard: how much tax you’re charged, at what effective rate, where it concentrates, and what credits and refunds are working in your favor.

  • KPI strip — tax charged, pre-tax spend, effective tax rate, credits & refunds, and the effective rate per cloud (Azure and AWS side by side).
  • Tax by month — the monthly tax trend with each month’s effective rate, plus credits received that month.
  • By account — every subscription/account with tax, its pre-tax spend, and its own effective rate (jurisdiction differences are immediately visible).
  • By cloud group — the same breakdown per Cloud Group, for chargeback conversations.

Tax rows come from Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer (for tax-applicable regions such as EU VAT or AU GST), and connected billing exports — where the AWS CUR and Azure Cost Management export are classified by line-item type, so tax, credits, and refunds are recognized exactly as they appear on the invoice. US-based AWS accounts typically have no tax rows.

Like every cost view, Tax Analytics follows the global filter and the selected date range. All amounts are shown in your display currency.
